Meet the Team
Rosie Richards: Owner, Lead Instructor & UW Photographer
Qualifications: SS1 Level 2 Freediving Instructor, Emergency First Aid Responder, CPR & Oxygen Provider, Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver, BA Hons Sports Journalism.
As a former competitive swimmer and scuba diver, the water has always been a place of comfort for me. But it wasn’t until I moved from London to Sydney in 2018 that I discovered freediving—and it completely changed my life. After nearly a decade working as a high school teacher, constantly juggling stress and noise, freediving offered something I hadn’t realised I was missing: stillness, focus, and a deep sense of calm.
Now, as an instructor, my goal is to make the ocean accessible to people from all walks of life. I love guiding students through the journey—whether in the pool or at depth—and helping them build confidence, connect body and mind, and experience the silence that lies below the surface.
I’m also passionate about underwater photography. Since first picking up a camera in 2021, I’ve been lucky to receive recognition from Photographer of the Year, Australian Photography, Capture Magazine, and APA Photo Collective. For me, it’s another way to share the beauty of the ocean—and to invite others into the world that has given me so much.
Remy: Instructor

Remy is a passionate freediver who loves exploring every aspect of the sport—static, pool, and depth. With a calm and supportive approach, Remy helps divers build confidence and improve across every discipline.
“What I love most about freediving is the structure it brings to my life and the space it creates for mindfulness. Diving deep gives me a sense of clarity, control, and intention. Some of my most treasured moments in the ocean have happened while freediving—most unforgettable was encountering a fever of over 200 cownose rays gliding through the blue waters of Seal Rocks. That experience will stay with me forever, and it continues to inspire the way I connect with the ocean and share it with others.”
Sasha: Instructor
Qualifications: Molchanovs Level 2 Instructor, Emergency First Aid Responder, CPR & Oxygen Provider
Sasha is a highly accomplished competitive freediver with deep expertise in freediving theory and technique. She excels at guiding students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced divers—by refining their technique, building confidence, and enhancing relaxation in both pool sessions and deep dives.
“My journey with the ocean began at a very young age, growing up in a family of ocean lovers who naturally passed on their deep appreciation for the sea. As a child, I spent countless hours swimming in the tranquil waters of the Black Sea and later exploring the vast, beautiful stretches of the Pacific Ocean in Japan. These early experiences nurtured my lasting love for the ocean and laid a strong foundation of comfort and confidence in open water.”
